This is a progressive center providing a vast array of evaluation and onsite service to assist employers in reducing injuries and worker compensation costs, by placing the right worker in the right job.

  • Post Offer Evaluation is a test administered after completing the application and hiring process, with employment being conditional upon performing the essential functions and demonstrating the ability to “safely” perform the job.
  • Return to Work or Fit for Duty Evaluation is a test administered to existing employees under several circumstances. This would consist of evaluation on a voluntary basis, at specific intervals, or on an individual basis if the employee demonstrates “evidence of problems related to the job performance or safety” (ADA Technical Assistance Manual 1-12).
  • Functional Capacity Evaluation is a medical test to measure an employee’s function post-injury. This allows for assessment of the current medical condition as it relates to the performance of essential work tasks. It provides an avenue to determine physical demand levels and work abilities and offers recommendations for treatment, case closure, and ability to return to work.
